My journey to freelance writing started when I was working for a ski chalet company. One of my jobs was to look after the social media channels, and I realised that our customers wanted more information than the odd Facebook and Instagram post. I also learned how important blogs are for a business. Therefore, I volunteered to write some blogs on the company’s website. Looking back at some of those early blogs makes me cringe, but we all have to start somewhere!
I started to learn how to improve my writing and got lots of practice with my affiliate marketing side hustles. Blog writing became a big part of my side hustle and allowed me to finally leave my job to work for myself full time. This is something I have always wanted to do, and I love the flexibility being my own boss gives me.
When I am not in front of my laptop, I am mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, and pretty much enjoying the outdoors from my home in the French Alps. I love it here and have no intention of going back to the UK, which is where I am from.
I have created lots of website content for my clients on multiple subjects. The variety of subjects is one of the elements of writing I enjoy. For example, I write about various topics, including snowboarding, skiing, water sports, cycling, mountain biking, electric vehicles, marketing and even condoms!
I want to connect with people to see how we can work together to improve the traffic to their website, while informing, educating and entertaining current and potential customers. If this is of interest to you, please get in touch.
